The best and coolest way to install both Xp and sth. for AAO.
I found the best way to install Xp and sth. *1 to the Acer Aspire one AOA150.
- Prepare AAO recovery DVD that you make from D2D by older eRecovery.
- Prepare DVD that was written image for sth.
- Prepare another Live OSes that boot from USB. Live-style Linux (DSL, Slax, etc.) is better.
- Make Partition table for PC type table, and MBR. Not GUID tables. (Fdisk is better. Parted also can do this, and more to say, parted can make GUID partition tables, too.)
- Prepare two primary partitions.
- One is at the top, for Xp.
- The second one is for sth.
- The first one is for ntfs, the second one is for sth. Set these partition types for their purpose.
- We have no need to format these partitions.
- Recover Xp first.
- Install sth. is the latter.
- That maybe automatically forms multilevel boot.
- The Darwin/x86 loader will wake up first.
- Select Xp, ntldr came to the second step.
- Select the last partition, sth. wake up.
I suppose that is the easiest and the most elegant way to install both two OSes.
Happy dreaming!
